Residents and visitors to the Schuylkill River at East Falls and Manayunk appreciate this urban oasis of green. These communities provide a unique opportunity to experience nature while taking advantage of all the resources a city neighborhood has to offer. Now more than ever there are opportunities to get involved; volunteer groups surrounding the river and its tributaries, trails and greenspace abound, focusing on the “greening” of our villages along the river.
