For the past four years, Hidden River Outfitters has offered kayaking tours of the Schuylkill River. These popular tours start out with paddling instruction then kayakers go out with a guide to explore this hidden reach of the Schuylkill River, its history, flora and fauna. Instruction, equipment rental and a guided tour are all included. Most tours also include a meal at the Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant. Tours run from May through September.
