Handshake Across the River
Mayor Nutter and Philadelphia and Montgomery County officials recently met on the Manayunk Bridge for a "handshake across the river." The symbolic meeting signifies the beginning of the development of the recreational trail that will join the Cynwyd Heritage Trail to Manayunk via the iconic Manayunk Bridge.
